Salary: £40,221 - £41,418 per annum
Hours: 37 hours per week, flexible working.
Workbase: West Cumbria House, Workington

We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified and experienced social work practitioner to join the Learning Disability, Autism and Transition Team in Cumberland Council. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person to be part of our creative, friendly, and very supportive team working with adults who have a learning disability and/or autism.

About the role
As a Senior Social Worker (Enhanced Practitioner), you will assess the needs of people and their carers and ensure the development and delivery of appropriate person centred, self-directed and enabled support to meet the Councils statutory obligations for people who have social care needs.

The Ideal candidates will have a solid understanding of the principles of The Care Act 2014 and will be skilled in undertaking strength-based, creative, and inclusive assessments, as well as support planning and the effective management of a mixed complexity case load.

This role requires an enhanced DBS check with an Adults Barred List check. Please note this role involves working in regulated activity with Adults and Young People from age 14 years.
