About this opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity within our new Customer Service structure for a full time Transactional Senior Customer Service Advisor based at Barrow Town Hall, with some home working available.
Please note this is a 9-month, fixed term position to cover a period of maternity leave.
The role supports customers undertaking council transactions, acts as a point of escalation for locality-based issues and engages with stakeholders to maintain high standards of customer service.
Who we are looking for…
A proactive individual with strong communication skills, able to manage complex situations, confident using digital platforms and CRM systems, and knowledgeable about customer service legislation and local community assets.
Additional responsibilities include supporting rota creation to ensure service coverage across telephony and reception.
