Salary: £26,403 - £26,824 per annum (Full Time Salary) & £18,482 - £18,777 per annum (Part Time Salary)
Hours: 1 x Full‑time: 37 hours per week (1.0 FTE) & 1 x Part‑time: 25.9 hours per week (0.7 FTE)

We are looking for an organised, enthusiastic candidate, with exceptional attention to detail, to join our friendly and proactive HR and Payroll Administration Team.
You will be part of the team responsible for the efficient day-to-day processing of payroll within the Council, including processing timesheets, contracts, pensions, mileage claims, actioning working pattern updates and handling any incoming payroll queries, always ensuring a confident and professional approach.
Working within our HR and OD Team you may also have the opportunity to provide support to other services where appropriate.
Who we’re looking for
The ideal candidate will be proactive, with strong coordination, organisation and administration skills. We are looking for someone who is confident and possesses the ability to work independently in a busy demanding environment with excellent organisational skills and an ability to use their own initiative.
You will have experience of working within a customer environment & ability to demonstrate strong Customer Service Skills. This will include communicating across various channels including but not limited to face-to-face telephone mail and electronic media.
Practical knowledge and understanding of core HR and Payroll practices would be beneficial for this role.
