About this opportunity
We are seeking to appoint dedicated and proactive Highway Network Officers to join our ambitious forward-thinking team. The role will involve assisting and supporting our local Highway Teams across Cumberland, to improve vital highway infrastructure and improving connectivity for our communities. This exciting role involves the preparation, design and supervision of highway improvements and maintenance projects to given timescales, budgets, and specification. Ensuring compliance with Council policies and regulatory frameworks. You will be a good communicator who can build relationships with colleagues across the highway service as well as external stakeholders to ensure that projects and works programmes are delivered.
