About this opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity within the Occupational Therapy team to support our local communities as a bank “Occupational Therapy Social Care Worker”. You will work alongside Occupational Therapists to support in the assessment and support of customers known to Adult Social Care. You will work in a strength based, customer focused way to understand the needs of the individual and to develop appropriate support to enable them to live as independently and happily as possible.
Who we are looking for…
We are looking for individuals with experience of Adult Social Care who are able to provide advice and guidance and who has a knowledge of Disabled Facilities Grants, Minor Aids and Adaptations, Care Act eligibility.
A team member who is strength based, holistic, community focused, an individual who is able to explore rehabilitatory, compensatory and adaptive approaches prior to issuing equipment and is able to articulate their reasoning and approach.
You will be good at building positive relationships with partners and colleagues, ensuring the safety of customers and teams, supporting an empowered workforce and promoting strength based, person centred interventions.
