About This Opportunity
Are you organised, efficient, and hardworking, with a passion for providing excellent customer service? We are looking for a Searches Officer to work in our small and friendly team based in either the Lillyhall Depot ( Workington ) or at the Parkhouse building ( Carlisle) and there is flexibility to work from home, subject to manager approval and the needs of the service.
This key role in the team will involve maintaining accurate and up to date information, data collection and to ensure the team provides vital information to our various partners as to the status of the highway network.
As the successful candidate you will need to be able to demonstrate excellent attention to detail and being a team player with strong communication skills.
The role will suit any person that can handle multiple tasks and deliver on tight deadlines. If you are an organised individual who is comfortable working in an ever-changing environment we would love to hear from you!
Post Specific Requirements
To provide technical advice and guidance to colleagues in maintaining a register of planned works and developments in order to meet the statutory requirements of Section 36 of the Highways Act 1980.
