Cook – Christian Head
Salary: £24,790 (pro rata) £12.8493 per hour
The advertised salary includes a supplement (JWC) to the base grade of the post. JWC supplements are conditional on the physical demands and /or working conditions of the role.
Hours: 27 hours a week over a 2-week rota, including alternate weekends

We have opportunities for enthusiastic people to join our supportive, friendly team at Christian Head.
As a cook you will be required to plan prepare and serve meals that are nutritionally balanced and that meet specific dietary needs. You will support the day to day running of the kitchen maintaining the highest standards completing paperwork and ensuring adherence to infection control and Environmental Health procedures.
We are looking for the successful candidate to be hard working reliable and passionate about making a real difference in the lives of our residents as each of their dietary and care needs will be catered to.
You do not need to have had previous experience in a residential home if you're friendly compassionate and interested in a new challenge we look forward to hearing from you.
About our home
Christian Head provides a safe, caring and home-from-home environment for up to 28 residents with complex health care needs. Situated close to all facilities in the market town of Kirkby Stephen, we offer respite and residential care for those who are elderly, frail or have dementia.

DBS
This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974 and requires an Enhanced DBS check.
