The advertised salary includes a supplement (JWC) to the base grade of the post. JWC supplements are conditional on the physical demands and /or working conditions of the role.

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the Learning Disability, Autism and Transition Social Work Team in South Lakes and Eden, Westmorland. We are a creative and supportive team working with young people and adults who have a learning disability and/or autism.

About the role
As a social care worker, you will be review and assess the needs of extraordinary individuals and their carers to ensure the development and delivery of appropriate person-centred, self-directed support. Using relevant legislative processes to qualify your practice.

This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974 and requires an enhanced DBS check with an Adults Barred List check.
