Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and creating memorable moments? Cumberland Council is seeking a dynamic and organised Ceremonies Assistant Coordinator to support the delivery of our growing ceremonies service. In this varied role, you’ll help coordinate and deliver weddings, civil partnerships, and citizenship ceremonies, while also supporting income generation initiatives and service development.
You’ll work closely with the Ceremonies and Income Generation Service Lead, liaising with customers, venues, and suppliers, managing rotas, and mentoring Ceremonies Officers. With a strong focus on customer service, you’ll also contribute to service improvements and help shape the future of our ceremonies offering. The ideal candidate will have experience in staff supervision, service delivery, and working within statutory frameworks. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, and a full driving licence, are essential.
