4.30 per hour - 159.10 per week - National Apprenticeship Wage - during first 12 months. (if 19 years old or over, after 12 months your salary will increase to minimum wage for your age)

The 21st century library service plays an important role in our communities providing safe, welcoming spaces, where people can explore, imagine and come together in an inclusive environment. They offer a one stop shop for local people to access a wide range of resources including information and advice, books, digital resources, access to PCs and educational support. They are places that support the diverse needs of communities with digital literacy, job finding skills or signposting via professionally selected health collections.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, highly motivated, customer focused and enjoy working as part of a team. You will need to be polite and welcoming with a passion for good customer service. You will be expected to promote a positive image of the Council and have a flexible approach to work.
