Hourly Rate: £13.69 - £13.90 per hour (£14.43p including supplement – after 6 months)
A market supplement of £0.53p per hour is currently being applied to this role and will be payable once you have been in post for 6 months. The Market Supplement will be applied to both your basic salary and to any additional hours, uplifting the hourly rate to £14.43 per hour. There will also be the option to take this as a lump sum annually if preferred.
Location: Birthwaite, Phoenix Way, Windermere
Available Hours: 21.5 hours per week
Please note: Extra Care is a 365 day a year, 7 day a week, 24-hour service. This will include weekend and Bank Holiday rotas. Typically, our shifts run between the hours of 7am - 3pm, 2:30pm - 10 pm and 9:45 pm - 7:15 am and are worked over a 2-week rota. The role will involve lone working
About this Opportunity
Extra Care Housing provides support to people living within a purpose built independent living community, everyone has their own home environment such as a flat or bungalow.
We are looking for caring and compassionate people to join our supportive teams within Extra Care Housing, providing tenants with the right level of support and care, while encouraging and enabling them to achieve or maintain their own independence.
As a Community Support Worker within Extra Care Housing, you will get the opportunity to know people individually and support their wellbeing through physical and emotional care. You may also assist with medication, providing personal care, meal preparation and any other identified needs.
