About this opportunity
We are looking for a Purchase to Pay Subject Matter Expert to provide guidance to the team facilitating learning and assisting with team workload to ensure work is completed to quality and within timescales. This includes sharing their in-depth knowledge of the service to ensure the adoption of best practice, to improve the customer experience and improve efficiency.
Following Local Government Reorganisation this has been delivered as a shared service but is now being disaggregated with a mixture of new and existing staff serving Westmorland and Furness Council.
Purchase to Pay and Accounts Receivable are part of the Council’s Financial Services team, so you’ll be joining our friendly, welcoming and supportive team.
The team primarily work from Carlisle however work location can be discussed at interview

You’ll be working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities so will need to be an experienced team worker to build relationships to facilitate cross team learning and implementation of service improvements.
