Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Home - Kendal
Salary: £48,474 to £49,498
The advertised salary includes a supplement (JWC) to the base grade of the post. JWC supplements are conditional on the physical demands and /or working conditions of the role.
Hours: 37 hours per week

Contract: Temporary (3 Months)
Are you an enthusiastic, dynamic and experienced Manager, with experience in a children’s residential care setting?
An exciting opportunity has arisen for the right person to join our Children’s Residential Home in Penrith as Registered Manager, an opportunity to make a difference to the lives of children and young people and would be joining a very strong and forward-thinking management team that strive for the very best outcomes.
As the manager for Oak Tree Road you will be responsible for the running and oversight of the home and the team, ensuring the highest standards of care are provided to our Children and Young People living within the home.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, innovative, and driven candidate, with significant experience managing in a residential setting for children and young people.
You will need to have an extensive knowledge around Ofsted inspection framework, Safeguarding policies, risk management and quality standards framework.
Effective communication skills are essential for this role, as well as the ability to work flexibly around the service.

This role requires an enhanced DBS check with a Children’s Barred List check. This role involves working in regulated activity with Children.
