Hourly Rate: £12.59 - £12.80 (£13.09 - £13.30 with supplement)
A market supplement of £0.50p per hour is also attached to this role and is included in the advertised hourly rate. This will be applied to both your basic salary and to any additional hours.
The advertised hourly rate includes a supplement (JWC) to the base grade of the post. JWC supplements are conditional on the physical demands and /or working conditions of the role.

Support at Home is a 365 day a year, 7 day a week, 24-hour service. This will include weekend and Bank Holiday rotas. Typically, we our shifts run between the hours of 7.30am – 9.30pm.

We have opportunities for caring and compassionate people to join our Support at Home teams across Allerdale and Copeland, as Reablement Support Workers.
Our Reablement Team, work with people who have been identified as having reablement needs to enable them to achieve identified outcomes; supporting them to retain as much independence as possible and remain living within their local community in their own home environment.
About the role
As a Reablement Support Worker your role is to enable individuals to remain in their own homes, supporting their recovery after a stay in hospital.
You will get the opportunity to know people individually, supporting their recovery and wellbeing through physical and emotional care, including support with everyday tasks, personal care and ensuring that reablement outcomes are met in accordance with a person centred, strength based reablement plan.
No experience or qualifications are needed to get started. We will help and support you with fully paid training and development – we are looking for the right people, with the right qualities.

Please note: There will be a need to respond to service users who will not always be accessible via public transport, due to the geographical dispersal of the staff and people we support, throughout the Service.

DBS
This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974 and requires an enhanced DBS check with a Adults Barred List check.
Please note this role involves working in regulated activity with adults. It is an offence for people who are barred from working in regulated activity to apply for roles that require them to work unsupervised with adults.
