We are looking for kind, compassionate candidates interested in the opportunity to make a real difference to both our Teams and the people we support, to join us as Relief Supervisors providing cover, across all our Service areas, as and when required.
At Care Services Westmorland and Furness, our Services include Residential Care, Disability and Mental Health Services, Support at Home and Extra Care Housing, and we are looking for versatile people, able to step into the position of Supervisor to cover short term and long term absences, wherever the need may be.
We want this to be a real opportunity for people to progress a career within Care and would welcome applications from both candidates with experience at this level, and those looking for development.
Who we are looking for
Ideally you will have a QCF level 3 in Care or equivalent qualification, and have some experience of team leadership, although this is not essential. We offer a robust induction, and we will support the successful candidate with any relevant training.
It’s more important to us that you have the right values and behaviours, engaging and encouraging staff to deliver care in a person-centred and dignified way, with the ability lead by example, set high standards and motivate our teams.

DBS
This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974 and requires an enhanced DBS check with a Adults Barred List check.
Please note this role involves working in regulated activity with adults. It is an offence for people who are barred from working in regulated activity to apply for roles that require them to work unsupervised with adults.
