About this opportunity
Cumberland Council are looking to recruit a Registered Manager to lead a Children’s Home within our Edge of Care and Children’s Homes service, supporting vulnerable young people with complex needs linked to trauma, attachment, emotional wellbeing and social exclusion.
As Registered Manager, you will be accountable for delivering a high-quality, safe and therapeutic home that enables children and young people to feel heard, valued and supported to thrive. You will provide strong, values-led leadership to a multidisciplinary team, ensuring the home’s Statement of Purpose is fully embedded and standards consistently meet legislative and regulatory requirements.
Working closely with families, social workers and partner agencies, you will champion inclusive, child-centred care planning, innovative therapeutic practice, staff development and a culture of continuous improvement—placing the voice, safety and aspirations of young people at the heart of everything you do.
This role is available on a permanent basis.
