About this opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a facilitator to join our Organisational Development and Training (OD&T) team to support teams as they go through transformation and change.
As a corporate enabling function we work with teams across all directorates, from highways to social care, to determine their learning needs, provide professional advice on learning solutions, and deliver high quality learning interventions using both traditional and technology based methods.
We require a facilitator to work closely with our Trainining Partners and Organisational Development Partners to meet directorate and council wide learning needs by developing, coordinating and delivering a broad range of learning solutions in areas such as leadership and management, team development, health and wellbeing and employee engagement activities.

Ideally we are looking for someone who can demonstrate at interview they meet our cumberland council values.

A self starter with a proactive approach and good ideas.
You will understand the importance of designing learning solutions based on sound evidence and research to ensure learning is appropriate and impactful.
You will display excellent customer service skills and have a flexible approach.
Possess excellent communication skills including listening to understand, able to facilitate to both small groups and larger audiences.
Be able to demonstrate excellent coordination skills and have a mindset for working flexibly across other areas and specialisms.
Working in a supportive, creative and highly productive environment, you will be able to flourish and gain valuable experience.
Strong ICT skills and able to demonstrate having delivered virtual learning sessions
Work base can be discussed at interview.
Travel will be required across the Cumberland area
