About this opportunity
We are looking for an enthusiastic and innovative individual to join our Family Help Service as an Early Help Officer working within the Multi Agency Children’s Hub alongside Social workers, Police, Education and Health colleagues.
As an Early Help Officer (Hub), you will contribute to the high-quality early support to children and families across Westmorland and Furness, providing Early Help consultation, multi-agency assessment, and guidance to professionals and practitioners carrying out critical front-line support to vulnerable children, young people, and their families with multiple needs. The role involves working within our Westmorland and Furness Multi Agency Children’s Hub team to contribute to and undertake MACH episodes and move work through the Early Help Pathways in a timely way.

We are looking for someone with a passion for improving outcomes for children, young people and their families, who can promote our vision for Family Help across Westmorland and Furness. Working as part of the Family Help Service you will work collaboratively and creatively with colleagues within the Multi Agency Children’s Hub and with agencies and services across Westmorland and Furness to implement innovative change for vulnerable children and families.
We are looking for someone with enthusiasm who has the right knowledge and experience, who can support and empower our teams and partners, and who can maintain a culture that places children, young people, and their families at the heart of Family Help Service delivery.
