Hourly Rate: £13.69 - £13.90 per hour (£14.43p including supplement – after 6 months)
A market supplement of £0.53p per hour is currently being applied to this role and will be payable once you have been in post for 6 months. The Market Supplement will be applied to both your basic salary and to any additional hours, uplifting the hourly rate to £14.43 per hour. There will also be the option to take this as a lump sum annually if preferred.
Location: Kendal Supported Living – based at Eskdale House

Available Hours: 28.5 per week
3 night shifts per week (10pm - 7:30 am). Includes weekends, week days and bank holidays over a 4 week pattern
About this opportunity
Our hardworking and friendly team is looking to recruit more likeminded people to make a difference to our Service User’s lives.
We support adults with learning and physical disabilities, promoting their emotional and physical wellbeing, enabling them to access the personalised support they need to live independently in their own homes and access their local communities.
As a Night Support Worker you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, comfort and wellbeing of our Service Users throughout the night. Working closely with the wider team, you will follow and contribute to individually tailored care plans, providing high-quality personal care where required. You will offer reassurance and support, while promoting independence wherever possible.
Your responsibilities will include conducting regular welfare checks, responding promptly to any needs during the night, supporting with medication, personal care, nutrition, hydration maintaining accurate records and ensuring a calm and safe environment. You will help ensure continuity of care by effectively communicating with the day team at handover.
