About this opportunity
We are looking to recruit an experienced and proactive Early Years and Childcare Adviser, working within the Early Years Team to improve outcomes for babies, children and families across Cumberland.
The right person will champion learning, development and education standards in the Early Years Foundation Stage and ensure high quality provision in all childcare settings, including Childminders, and in our developing Family Hubs. You will help to provide a service for monitoring, supporting, and challenging schools and settings, and will also actively contribute to Cumberland’s wider Early Years Strategic plan as part of our commitment to ensuring that every child in Cumberland has the best possible start in life.
This role is available on a permanent basis and can be based at Cumbria House, Carlisle or West Cumbria House, Workington.
