The advertised salary includes a supplement (JWC) to the base grade of the post. JWC supplements are conditional on the physical demands and /or working conditions of the role.
About this opportunity
Opportunity to progress social work career with an opportunity to be a temporary Senior Social Worker within the Carlisle Long Term Interventions Team. Supporting colleagues and individuals to work in a strengths based, person centred approach to assess care needs and undertake support planning in a variety of settings, whilst also undertaking other statutory responsibilities and supporting in relation to risk assessment and management. Candidate should have or be willing to undertake further training to enable them to complete Best Interests Assessor role, Practice Educator role or Approved Mental Health Practitioner role.

DBS
This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974 and requires an enhanced DBS check with an Adults Barred List check.
Please note this role involves working in regulated activity with adults. It is an offence for people who are barred from working in regulated activity to apply for roles that require them to work unsupervised with adults.
