About this opportunity
The role of Maintenance Technician is to work with the Maintenance Technician Team at the Community Equipment Service in Maryport, to assist in the efficient and effective planning and organising of a range of service and repair activities related to quality equipment provision by using agreed processes and practices.
The role of the maintenance technician is to plan, organise and undertake the maintaining, repair and testing of equipment, including being part of an out of hours service, to ensure it continues to work effectively to ensure risks to customers are minimised and statutory requirements are met.
Provide general technical advice in respect of maintenance and repair of equipment and act as a point of contact to deal with unplanned events such as an urgent request for equipment provision or an equipment failure/breakdown to ensure quality, health and safety and customer care standards are always maintained.
The role requires driving throughout Cumberland and being part of an out of hours service.
