About the role:
We are looking for an inspirational tutor to deliver Arts and Crafts classes to our learners across the Whitehaven and the surrounding areas including Millom. You will prepare and deliver creative and exciting lessons that enthuse and develop adult learners. You will be working from a variety of settings across the local community and your learners will have a wide range of backgrounds and abilities.
Who we are looking for:
We are looking for someone with experience of painting and drawing and the ability to teach a range of textiles and crafts would be an advantage. We’d like you to have a recognised teaching qualification or be working towards one.
Our tutors have a can-do attitude and build excellent working relationships with their learners and colleagues across the service. We need you to have a flexible approach to spot and meet emerging needs in the local area so this role may include some evening work.
