About this opportunity
Cumberland Council is seeking to appoint a Delivery Manager to manage the successful delivery of St. Cuthberts Garden Village. This project is transformational and will see 10,000 new homes within an exemplar new community to the south of Carlisle.
With the new St Cuthbert Local Plan continuing to progress and the Carlisle Southern Link Road approaching completion; the Garden Village is now moving towards delivery for which this role will be instrumental. This role requires excellent leadership, stakeholder engagement and project management skills to ensure time and efficient delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
You will have strong experience as a delivery manager or in similar project management or planning roles. A strong understanding of regulations, land use, infrastructure and environmental planning and be able manage multiple projects and workstreams.
