The role of Operations Technician is to support the Senior Operations Technician to assist in the efficient and effective planning and organising of a range of activities related to quality equipment provisions by using agreed processes and practices.
To be responsible on a day-to-day basis for the receipt, storage and issue of equipment in accordance with the Councils polices and procedures.
Support the co-ordination and completion of warehouse activities to manage stock availability and to ensure that all issues and returns are controlled and agreed stock levels are maintained.
Undertake the testing and servicing of equipment in stores to ensure it continues to work effectively and statutory requirements are met.
To support the Senior Operations Technician to ensure compliance with all relevant Health & Safety procedures e.g. incident reporting, infection prevention, manual handling road traffic act, PPE to ensure the safety of self, colleagues and customers.
