Cumberland Council is a dynamic and innovative organisation committed to leveraging technology to drive efficiency and growth. We are currently seeking a talented and experienced ICT Applications and Data Manager to lead our in-house (Hosted Service) team.
As the ICT Applications and Data Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and enhancing our organisation's application portfolio. You will be responsible for managing the organisations application estate, ensuring the stability and security of the systems.
We are looking for a candidate with the following:• Proven experience in managing ICT Applications within on-premise and cloud environments.• Experience with security protocols, risk management, and compliance standards.• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Key Responsibilities:• Lead a team of 17 skilled professionals in designing, implementing, and maintaining our ICT Application estate.• Develop and implement strategies for the secure and efficient operation of all ICT systems.• Collaborate with other departments to understand their technology needs and provide solutions that align with business objectives and the target operating model of the organisation.• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and reliability of Application services.• Implement and enforce security protocols, policies, and procedures to safeguard data and systems.• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions for continuous improvement.
