About this opportunity
We are looking for someone who is confident, friendly and customer focused to join our busy Customer Services Single Point of Access team. The successful candidate will be joining a friendly and proactive team, who are passionate about providing top level customer service and supporting delivery of the Councils Adult Social Care statutory obligations.
Our Customer Services Single Point of Access team deal with incoming calls and enquiries both over the phone and electronically from our customers, their representatives and professionals.
They are responsible for gathering information at the start of the assessment process, to support achieving the best outcome for our customers; signposting to community support and local assets where appropriate and identifying possible Safeguarding concerns.
This role has the opportunity to support in elements of all teams that sit within the Customer Services Service Centre, part of the Enabler Services Directorate.
Who we are looking for…
This is a crucial role in the Adult Social Care system and can be both challenging yet rewarding. We work with a wide range of stakeholders, from Adult Social Care teams to external professionals and organisations.
It is a very busy team and requires the need to be proficient in ICT and Customer Services. You must be able to prioritise your workload, with an attention detail and to a high standard, often working within time pressures. The ability to multi-task is key in this role.
