About this opportunity Are you passionate about ensuring the safety and efficiency of our highways? Cumberland Council is seeking a dedicated Streetworks Compliance Officer to join our dynamic Streetworks Team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing and inspecting all utility work activities on the Cumbria Highway network, ensuring compliance with the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991, the Traffic Management Act 2004, and the Highways Act 1980.
As a Streetworks Compliance Officer, you will support the Streetworks Area Lead Compliance Officer in monitoring and coordinating activities on the highway, providing technical advice and guidance, and facilitating the inspection and completion of works. Your expertise will help maintain high standards of safety and quality across the network. If you have relevant qualifications, experience in highway-related services, and a keen eye for detail, we invite you to apply and contribute to the smooth operation of our highways.
