About this opportunityCumberland Council is looking for a dedicated Access and Inclusion Officer to join our Inclusion Service. In this vital role, you’ll help ensure that vulnerable children can access education and social opportunities, supporting their development and wellbeing. You’ll work closely with schools, families, and partner agencies to tackle issues such as poor attendance, exclusions, and children missing education.
We’re seeking someone with a relevant degree or professional qualification, strong knowledge of education legislation, and experience working directly with vulnerable children and families. If you’re a confident communicator with a knack for building relationships and a commitment to inclusion, we’d love to hear from you. In return, you’ll join a supportive team within a forward-thinking council that values professional development and community impact.
This role is available on a fixed-term basis.
