Head of Work, Health and Skills Strategy

Secondment (up to 18 months) | Grade 18 (TBC)
Location: Penrith (regional and occasional national travel required)
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to take on a senior strategic role shaping the future of work, health and skills across Cumbria. You will advise the Combined Authority Board and Chief Executive, leading the development of integrated policy and strategy to support inclusive growth and improved outcomes for residents.
You will play a key role in delivering devolved Adult Skills Funding (ASF), including leading commissioning strategies, and setting the direction for the Work and Health Board. The role also involves building strong partnerships with local authorities, government departments, education providers, and health partners to ensure joined-up delivery.
