Hourly Rate: £13.47 - £17.96
The advertised hourly rate includes a supplement (JWC) to the base grade of the post. JWC supplements are conditional on the physical demands and /or working conditions of the role.
A market supplement is currently being applied to all night and weekend (Saturday and Sunday) shifts, uplifting your hourly rate in these periods to approx. £17.96. This will replace any previous market supplements and will apply to both your contracted hours and to any additional hours worked within the applicable time periods.

About Residential Care
Help older adults live their life how they choose and enjoy their later years. Support people to stay active and healthy by encouraging good nutrition and promoting fitness and mobility, as well as supporting emotional wellness.
About the role
As a Support Worker (Carer, Care Worker, Care Assistant) you will get the opportunity to know people individually and support their wellbeing through physical and emotional care. You may also assist with medication, providing personal care, and encouraging our people to achieve or maintain independence.
About Our Home
Christian Head provides a safe, caring and home-from-home environment for up to 28 residents with complex health care needs. Situated close to all facilities in the market town of Kirkby Stephen, we offer respite and residential care for those who are elderly, frail or have dementia.
Working within our Residential Care Service will typically involve working shifts which usually cover between 7am until 10pm (days) or 9.30pm – 7.30am (nights), over 7 days, 365 day a year – this will include alternate weekends (as part of a set rota) and Bank Holidays.
