This is an exciting opportunity to join the Cumberland Global Resettlement Service and make a difference to the children, families, and people we resettle in Cumberland. We are looking for an experienced, skilled, and dedicated person to join our well-established Global Resettlement Service as a Team Manager. The role requires a good understanding of resettlement, cultural needs and a knowledge of legislation and guidance which supports this area of work.
The successful candidate will on a day-to-day basis allocate, coordinate, and manage employees as well as volunteers in the delivery of support packages and have significant experience in using Early Help Assessment/Plan/Team Around the Family and a good working knowledge of the Signs of Safety. Providing direct line management to a group of employees the successful candidate will focus on practice development, quality assurance and promoting best practice.
The applicant will have a background of working across a range of providers, both internal and external, including third sector and contracted providers. The ability to form good working relationships that meet the needs of those resettled is essential to the role.
The role is offered on a 2-year fixed term contract and will work across the Cumberland footprint with the majority of the work in the west coast area.

Our interview process can accommodate both in-person and virtual formats, with tailored options discussed upon invitation to the interview stage. Preferred for virtual interviews is the use of Microsoft Teams, currently available for new users at no cost. The advertised salaries includes a supplement (JWC) to the base grade of the post. JWC supplements are conditional on the physical demands and /or working conditions of the role.
DBS
This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974 and requires an enhanced DBS check with Children’s Barred List check.
