Salary: £20,092 - £20,493 (Pro-rata)
The advertised salary includes a supplement (JWC) to the base grade of the post. JWC supplements are conditional on the physical demands and /or working conditions of the role.

The Reablement Service are looking for organised and hardworking people to join us as Reablement Support Workers. Working as part of our team and delivering services across South Cumbria, this is an opportunity to directly support and improve the well-being of individuals in local communities.
Our service provides short term support for adults with wide ranging needs, enabling them to live as independently as possible, whilst also ensuring their safety and well-being. We are committed to working with them to achieve their personal goals, helping them to remain in their own homes within their local communities.
As a Reablement support worker, you will follow a support plan which has been created through discussion with the person, ensuring that they have choice and are always treated with dignity and respect. You will provide personal, social, and emotional support to adults in the local community in a caring and compassionate way. You will work with that person to support them to improve their quality of life increase confidence and at all times promote independence.
We are looking for people who have experience of working in a person-centred manner and can deliver exceptional service. The ideal candidates will have a good knowledge of our service and will be able to treat each person as an individual, working with them to ensure their safety and dignity are always maintained. QCF Level 3 qualification is desirable, but we can support candidates to achieve this within 12 months of appointment into the post. Experience in a health or care setting is not a requirement, but we are looking for people who have knowledge of assessments, reviews, and identifying outcomes for those who need support.
Candidates will need to have use of their own vehicle for this role.
This role requires an enhanced DBS check with an Adults Barred List check. Please note this role involves working in regulated activity with Adults.
