We are looking for the perfect candidate to join our team!
Cumberland Council are looking for a professionally qualified Property Survey (Fabric) to join the Property Team, to assist in the delivery of the corporate maintenance contract and provide surveying activities to support the wider delivery of property services. This role is key in assuring the Cumberland Council corporate estate is maintained to a high standard to support front-line services, including Children’s Services, Adult Services, Highways, and other Local Authority functions.
The role of Property Surveyor is to provide building fabric and construction subject matter advice in support of the capital works programme and the delivery of the corporate maintenance contract. This include the production of technical building surveys, commissioning of specialist works through consultants, being responsible for building repairs and actively striving to improve the Councils property portfolio.
The right candidate will be a professionally qualified Property Surveyor, who is either accredited with a professional institution or working towards it.
You will be a team player who is self-motivated with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to proactively prioritise your workload.
