Salary: 4.15 per hour - 153.55 per week - National Apprenticeship Wage - during first 12 months. (if 19 years old or over, after 12 months your salary will increase to minimum wage for your age)
Hours: 37 hours per week

As a Business Administrator Apprentice you will be working with the Occupational Health Team. We are part of the Corporate, Customer and Community Services Directorate providing a wide range of health, wellbeing and advice services to our Cumbria County Council employees. This is a diverse and interesting administration role.
Working alongside our team of clinical staff we ensure the smooth running of the Occupational Health Department. Working with us you will learn and carry out varied administrative tasks which can range from scheduling appointments to administrating Doctors clinics.
The work is challenging and rewarding, it affords a fantastic opportunity to develop a range of skills and knowledge of working within a health environment.
Essential Criteria
Please note that your application will be assessed against the Qualifications; Skills and Personal Qualities and Behaviours listed on the Apprenticeship Description. In your application form you must therefore clearly demonstrate:
-That you meet all qualification requirements, and
-That you have or would develop, the skills, personal qualities and behaviours required of the role and provide examples where possible.
Aptitude Assessments and Eligibility Checks will take place between 9th and 27th March 2020. All applicants will be invited to attend on a specific day and must be available to attend on the day specified in order to be considered for the next stage in the recruitment process.
Cumbria County Council will share some of the details you have included in your application form i.e. name; date of birth; home address; email address; telephone/mobile number and qualifications with its commissioned apprenticeship training providers for the purpose of the recruitment, training and management of the apprenticeship programme.
