Teaching Assistant - £12.38 per hour
Senior Teaching Assistant - £13.69 - £14.17 per hour
Hours: Term time only - Varying hours as required

Due to high demand we are looking for friendly enthusiastic and hard-working individuals to join our Learning Support Service as Teaching Assistants and Senior Teaching Assistants.
Once you have joined us our friendly and dedicated team will work to find you opportunities with schools and educational establishments across the county and these can be term time contracts or longer-term prospects. Our team will build a supportive relationship with you and work to make sure we find you a position that works.
Joining the Learning Support Service in Cumberland Council offers development flexibility and variety and the opportunity to find positions that suit you. Our service includes positions supporting children with class support/1-1 support severe and complex needs additional/special educational needs.
We are also looking for TAs to support Adult Learners achieve their GCSE grades.

Role Profile
Senior Teaching Assistant
This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974 and requires an enhanced DBS check with a Children’s Barred List check.
Please note this role involves working in regulated activity with Children. It is an offence for people who are barred from working in regulated activity to apply for roles that require them to work unsupervised with Children.
A Portable DBS is also welcomed.
