Could this be you? We are looking for a service manager to be responsible for the effective delivery and performance of our district children’s service teams based in Barrow and South Lakeland. This post will be primarily based in Barrow and will work supporting the Senior Manager for the District on achieving positive outcomes for children and their families.
In Cumbria we are committed to embedding our model of practice, Signs of Safety and we are starting to see evidence of this having an impact on the quality of our practice in our recent ILACS short focused visit, Ofsted found that:

It helps to shape the way in which social workers think and practise. It provides a common language for use with other professionals. It is also used positively to engage parents and families, enabling them to share in the evaluation of risks and concerns about their children and supporting them to make the changes needed to improve children’s outcomes.”
