Then a Data Analyst apprenticeship with Cumbria County Council could be for you!As a Data Analyst Apprentice, you will be working with the Strategic Commissioning Team.
The primary role of a Data Analyst is to collect, organise and study data to provide business insight. Data analysts are typically involved with managing, cleansing, abstracting and aggregating data and conducting a range of analytical studies on that data. They work across a variety of projects, providing technical data solutions to a range of stakeholders/customers issues.
The Strategic Commissioning Team is part of the Corporate, Customer and Community Services directorate within Cumbria County Council. The role of commissioning is to plan the services that are needed by the people who live in the area that it covers, making sure that services are available.
Commissioning involves using all the resources that are available to support people to have better and more independent lives through understanding, developing and delivering services and support across an area.
This is a new role within the Strategic Commissioning Team, and one of the focuses will be to use the data analysed to inform the commissioning cycle and review of services.
This is an excellent opportunity that offers a wide range of transferable skills. This apprenticeship requires that learners are a minimum of 18 years old upon starting the apprenticeship.
Aptitude Assessments and Eligibility Checks will take place between 1st and 12th April 2019. All applicants will be invited to attend on a specific day and must be available to attend on the day specified in order to be considered for the next stage in the recruitment process.
