Salary: OS11 (A) £35,745
Hours: 30 hours per week (0.8FTE)
Location: flexible locations within Cumberland with agile/remote working
Contract: Fixed term, until January 2029

About this opportunity
Cumberland Council are looking for an organised and engaging individual to build sustainable research and analysis capacity and activity by developing and improving opportunities to develop research skills and experience for staff. Promoting research, analysis, and evidence-building activities within and by Cumberland Council.
The successful candidate will build sustainable evidence user capability in Cumberland Council by developing the knowledge and skills needed to choose and use rigorous evidence across our workforce through a research training programme.
The role will deliver, support, and embed a sustainable research-informed, data-driven culture across Cumberland Council, enabling all colleagues to become ‘evidence confident.’
