Watch Manager Vacancies

Applications are now being invited for current and future Watch Manager vacancies across the service area throughout 2021/22.
We are welcoming applications from competent Firefighters and Crew Managers. We want to hear from those who are looking for promotion or a transfer opportunity, who share the ambition to do more for our communities whilst demonstrating the right behaviours to lead on cultural change.
Cumbria Fire & Rescue Service is a directorate of Cumbria County Council that provides prevention, protection and response services to a wide and diverse range of communities. Cumbria is a fantastic place to live and work but is also faced with a number of significant challenges including a super ageing population, rurality, infrastructure and natural weather.
Candidates will be able to provide evidence of how they meet the essential and desirable criteria that supports improving the service delivery environment, promoting cultural change and also measured against the “Leading Others” specifications of the NFCC Leadership Framework.
