On-call Firefighters - Cumbria Fire and Rescue

Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service are recruiting On-call Firefighters to join our stations in 2022. If you are interested in supporting a forward thinking and progressive Fire and Rescue Service, then we would like to hear from you.
Rates of Pay:
Trainee Retainer £1,814 – 2,419 (pro rata paid during the initial 2 weeks of training)
Developing Retainer: £1,890 – 2,520
Competent Retainer: £2,418 – 3,224 (generally achieved after 3 years in service)
Per disturbance: £4.24
Per hour whilst at incident: £11.51 (developing), £14.72 (competent)
The advertised salary range depends on how many hours you can offer your station, and ranges from limited cover (less than 120 hours/week) to full cover (120+ hours/week)
Hours: Please provide the hours you are available/happy to commit to on the attached supporting information document. The hours needed vary from station to station and may change over time.
This will be discussed further at your interview.
Contract: Permanent contract
