We have an exciting opportunity for a general manager with strong communication, and excellent people management skills, a focus on customer service and experience in venue management to manage two much-loved venues in the heart of Ulverston. Coronation Hall and Ulverston Market sit within the Thriving Communities directorate, enabling culture and creativity to flourish in our unique landscape, recognising the transformative power that it plays in place making, place shaping, the health and well-being of our communities and the economy of Westmorland and Furness.
In this role you will be responsible for managing a team of employees across both venues, ensuring that the work carried out is efficient, professional and aligns with the values and ambitions of the council. You will work closely with several key stakeholders and will establish and maintain partnerships with local organisations, artists, and cultural influencers to foster future collaborations.
