Salary Scale: £48,474 - £49,498.
The advertised salaries includes a supplement (JWC) to the base grade of the post. JWC supplements are conditional on the physical demands and /or working conditions of the role.
About this Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced, skilled, and dedicated person to join our well-established Youth Justice Service as an Assistant Team Manager. The successful candidate will support the day-to-day management of the service, deputising for the Team Practice Manager where necessary, as well as providing direct line management to a group of staff. This role will have a focus on quality assurance and practice development across the service.
The applicant should have significant operational experience working within a Youth Justice setting and a proven track record of assisting performance improvement and developing practice. It is expected that the successful candidate will have a background of building working relationships across multi-agency teams and working with colleagues to secure the best outcomes for children and families.
The role is temporary until 30/12/2024 and will work across the Cumberland area.

This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974 and requires an enhanced DBS check with an Adults and Children’s Barred List check.
Please note this role involves working in regulated activity with adults and Children. It is an offence for people who are barred from working in regulated activity to apply for roles that require them to work unsupervised with Adults and Children.
