Contract type: Fixed Term - 6 Months (due to Internal Secondment)
We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and driven individual to join the team at The Gables, as our Deputy Manager. This is a fantastic challenge and is an excellent opportunity for career progression to Residential Manager.
About Us
We are situated on Cleator Moor Road, Whitehaven, and The Gables is a newly built care home that provides a safe, secure, and comfortable environment to those who are physically frail, highly dependent and people with Dementia
Who we are looking for
The ideal candidate for this role will be someone who can lead and develop a team of staff in a residential setting, providing a safe and effective service. You will have an NVQ4 in a relevant subject or demonstrable equivalent experience, as well as experience managing in a residential setting for adults.
We are looking for someone with political awareness, who can motivate and lead the team, driving our home towards achieving a good or outstanding CQC rating.

This role requires an enhanced DBS check with an Adults Barred List check. Please note this role involves working in regulated activity with Adults
