The Performance and Risk team works across the County Council to provide support and advice in performance and risk management. Risk management support involves providing assistance to decision makers through the risk management process. This involves the implementation of risk policies and procedures as well as control reporting process. Risk support can vary with both planned involvement in ongoing projects and additional support for significant events.
A risk officer consistently supports colleagues at all levels, is often part of a multi-disciplinary team and collaborates to achieve results for the Council.
Essential Criteria
Please note that your application will be assessed against the Qualifications; Skills and Personal Qualities and Behaviours listed on the Apprenticeship Description. In your application form you must therefore clearly demonstrate:
- That you meet all qualification requirements, and
- That you have or would develop, the skills, personal qualities and behaviours required of the role and provide examples where possible.
Aptitude Assessments and Eligibility Checks – if required, will take place between 9th and 27th March 2020. All applicants will be invited to attend on a specific day and must be available to attend on the day specified in order to be considered for the next stage in the recruitment process.
Cumbria County Council will share some of the details you have included in your application form i.e. name; date of birth; home address; email address; telephone/mobile number and qualifications with its commissioned apprenticeship training providers for the purpose of the recruitment, training and management of the apprenticeship programme.
