Hourly Rate: £12.38 (£12.88 with supplement)
A market supplement of £0.50p per hour is also attached to this role and is included in the advertised hourly rate. This will be applied to both your basic salary and to any additional hours.
The advertised hourly rate includes a supplement (JWC) to the base grade of the post. JWC supplements are conditional on the physical demands and /or working conditions of the role.

About Extra Care HousingEveryone living in Extra Care Housing has their own flat or apartment within a serviced building that also has some communal areas. We are there to provide support for those older adults that require some degree of care intervention to live as independently as they wish, in the way they choose.
About the role
As a Support Worker (Care Assistant) you will get the opportunity to know people individually and support their wellbeing through physical and emotional care. Depending on the needs of the person you may also assist with medication, providing personal care, and encouraging individuals to achieve or maintain independence.
No experience or qualifications are needed to get started. We will help and support you with fully paid training and development – we are looking for the right people, with the right qualities. DBS
This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974 and requires an enhanced DBS check with an Adults Barred List check.
Please note this role involves working in regulated activity with adults. It is an offence for people who are barred from working in regulated activity to apply for roles that require them to work unsupervised with adults .
