Community Safety Co-ordinator
Salary: £20,444 – £20,852
Hours: 37 hours per week
Workbase: Can be Countywide and will involve working from your local station

We have an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join our Cumbria Fire & Rescue Service Prevention team as a Community Safety Co-ordinator.
The prevention departments aim is to prevent the occurrence of fires and other emergencies and the impacts on our communities. While supporting our wider vision and commitment to the health, safety and wellbeing of the people that live, work, and visit Cumbria. We aim to achieve this by delivering various community safety activities.
The Community Safety Co-ordinator is our first point of contact for our customers/ partner agencies and internal staff to co-ordinate our Safe & well Programme and other prevention activities. Prioritising and allocating workloads and provide guidance, support and training to new and existing staff.
The role is varied and can be demanding yet rewarding and will require someone with good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and act on own initiatives.
We are looking for someone who’s friendly and compassionate and strives to achieve positive outcomes for vulnerable people and communities
Candidates should have experience of customer service provision, good working knowledge of administrative systems and Microsoft packages
Knowledge of our CFRMIS Database is desirable but not essential.
