The ICT Service Support Team works with other corporate ICT teams to deliver services to over 4,500 Council staff. The team is responsible for all ICT procurement, ranging from laptops and phones through to major software applications, manages stock rooms holding ICT equipment and spares, and also ensures redundant equipment is disposed of securely and safely. The team is also responsible for ensuring correct processes are followed when dealing with the asset management of physical equipment and changes to software applications. Working in this team you will gain experience of record keeping, procurement processes, industry standard Information Technology (IT) processes such as Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), and the provision of IT equipment and services to a diverse range of staff, with differing requirements.
The Records Management Team are responsible for the management of the Council’s semi-current records that are no longer needed by the services for day to day business activities, but still need to be kept by the council to meet legal requirements. While working in this team, you will gain experience in the Council’s Digital Mailroom (DMR), providing a scanning service for teams wishing to digitise their records, and assisting in the retention of records in accordance with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

Assessments and Eligibility Checks will take place between 9th and 27th March 2020. All applicants must be available to attend on the day specified in order to be considered for the next stage in the recruitment process.
