Cumbria Care are recruiting to a number of domiciliary support worker roles. This is an amazing opportunity to join our team; delivering services across Cumbria and directly supporting and improving the well-being of individuals in local communities.
The domiciliary and reablement service provide person centred, strength based support to individuals with wide ranging needs. This enables them to live as independently as possible whilst ensuring their safety and well-being are maintained.
The Role
As a domiciliary support worker you will follow a support plan which has been created through discussion with the person accessing the service, ensuring that they have choice and are treat with dignity and respect at all times. You will provide caring, compassionate, personal, social and emotional support to adults in the local community. This may include support with: personal care requirements, assisting people to get in/out of bed, meal preparation, medication and/or any other identified needs.
You will work with that person to support them to improve their quality of life, increase confidence and at all times promote independence.
Salary: 19,171 pro rata

Who we are looking for:
We are looking for people who have experience of working in a person centred manner and can deliver exceptional service. The ideal candidate will have a good knowledge of the Domiciliary service, and will be able to treat each person as an individual, working with them to ensure their safety and dignity are maintained at all times.
NVQ Level 2 In care is desirable, but we can support candidates to achieve this within 12 months of appointment into the post.
Experience in a health or care setting is not a requirement, but we are looking for people who have knowledge of assessments, reviews, and identifying outcomes for those who need support.
