Salary: £25,481 - £25,991
The advertised salary includes a supplement (JWC) to the base grade of the post. JWC supplements are conditional on the physical demands and /or working conditions of the role.

Cumbria County Council’s Support at Home Service has an exciting opportunity for friendly, compassionate and focused individuals to join our teams as Senior Support Workers. This is a new role in the team structure, and we are excited to offer these posts as a progression opportunity for professional and proven support workers / home care practitioners.
The Support at Home Service provides both domiciliary and reablement services, as part of the wider Provider Services Team. As Senior Support Workers, you will work closely with the domiciliary support provision; a service that operates 24/7 and supports people to remain in their own homes, maintain their dignity and independence, and empowers them to make choices regarding their care.
The ideal candidates will have experience of developing person-centred support plans, can deal with challenging situations, and will be people who can demonstrate supporting individuals with dignity, choice, and respect at all times. Please note: Travel across Cumbria will be required, and the role may include some overnight working.
This role requires an enhanced DBS check with an Adults Barred List check. Please note this role involves working in regulated activity with Adults.
